The
Las Vegas Indian Center is a non-profit organization recognized
under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code
and was incorporated in the State of Nevada in March 1972.
It is the only urban Indian organization in Southern Nevada
and is not affiliated with any one tribe or reservation. Our
office provides services to the American Indian community
residing in the Las Vegas metropolitan area, and throughout
the rural areas of Clark County.
Our
Mission is to advocate on behalf of American Indian people
to secure a more promising future while preserving the rich
historical legacy of the past. Our mission is accomplished
through:

proactive programming for social and economic self-sufficiency,
> targeted outreach to youth and elders,
> community partnerships that facilitate the delivery
of services, and
> cultural events that promote awareness and respect
of indigenous people.
